Another Post To Diane’s Blog That Won’t Get Published
UPDATE 2/16/2010: As I anticipated, she deleted the comment. Her inability and/or outright refusal to even respond to my suggestion that she might owe Michael’s memory an apology speaks volumes about her character.

She’s just been soooo quiet now that so much of what she reported about Michael after his death has been debunked by the coroner’s report, dontcha think?
She claimed: “…during the run-up to his massive comeback concert tour this year we’ve now learned he was engaged in an orgy of drugs”. Hmm. Wrong. Seems the only drugs in his system were those provided by a guy now facing involuntary manslaughter charges.
She claimed: “There are indications that when the doctor was not in the room Jackson may have sneaked even more medications in his continuing quest to end his insomnia. It’s typical addict behavior.” What indications would those be? No, really. And according to Murray he was only out of the room for 2 minutes, and Michael was already under the anesthesia. That statement is just beyond the ludicrous.
She claimed: “Not only was he abusing massive amounts of drugs, he suffered from anexoria.” Back to the toxicology report (read it here), which refutes her assertion of “massive amounts of drugs”. Anorexia was dispelled when the medical examiner listed his height at 5’9″ and weight as 136 pounds: according to http://www.healthdiscovery.net, his ideal weight would have been 142. Six pounds underweight does not an anorexic make.
And it just goes on. So anyway, here’s the post I submitted.

Well Diane, now that the autopsy report is out, don’t you think you might owe the memory of Michael Jackson an apology? Your statement “…we’ve now learned he was engaged in an orgy of drugs” was not only inflammatory, it was categorically incorrect.
Furthermore, you also state with great authority that he “was never quite able to shake the taint of his child molestation trial acquittal”, which of course is true due in large part to your relentless pursuit of the man who was exonerated of every single one of those charges. The statement “he was often very obviously over-mediated during his 2005 child sex abuse trial” (I’m sure you meant medicated… proofreaders are a dime a dozen, FYI) indicates that perhaps he should have just taken the charges in stride with a blase smile on his face and a song in his heart. The ignorance in that ridiculous passage is mind boggling.
What did he ever do to you? The fact that anyone other than your immediate circle of family and friends has ever heard your name is due solely to Michael Jackson. So perhaps while you’re apologizing, you should take a moment to thank him for every paycheck you receive, every meal you eat, and the roof over your head.
