Who Is Omer Bhatti?

There seems to be lots of flap about this Omer Bhatti guy, who claims to be Michael Jackson’s “love child”. It actually took longer than I thought it would for some knucklehead to crawl out from under a rock and make a claim like this. Supposedly, Omer is the product of a one night stand between Michael and Omer’s mom, Pia, who worked for Michael as a nanny.
Uh, yeah. Michael was famous for his one night stands. Closet cad. Not.
There’s no doubt that Omer Bhatti shared a resemblance to an early surgically enhanced version of Michael Jackson. Lots of eyeliner helped, too. Truth be told, though, slap a widow’s peak on that kid and he’d look more like Eddie Munster than Michael Jackson.
Having said that, however, there is definitely no denying the resemblance between Omer Bhatti and Blanket Jackson. Keep in mind that Omer was 12 or 13 in these pictures; Blanket’s only 7, he’s still got cute little chubby cheeks, and Maybelline isn’t part of his routine.
Now, having said THAT, what do you think of this?
I see a definite resemblance.
Maybe it’s just that I want desperately for Michael Jackson to have left a living piece of his incredible talent behind. And even as I wrote that last sentence, I felt a stab of shame. Michael raised 3 incredibly beautiful children, who by all accounts are extremely well mannered, polite, and exceptionally bright. It takes a parent to do that, and sperm does not a parent make: I know whereof I speak on this one, but that’s a blog for another day. Michael clearly loved his kids above everything else in his life. He loved children, period. Angelina and Madonna have nothing on Michael, though God bless them for what they have done. They’ve brought joy to a few, and that in itself is respectable: Michael Jackson opened his arms, his heart, and Neverland, and brought joy to thousands. And right here at home, no less, and with much less fanfare and infinitely fewer accolades from the press. That alone speaks volumes about his character.
Prince, Paris and Blanket are his legacy. They are his children, he was their father, and that’s all there is to that.
But anyway, back to Omer the Love Child. I’m not buying it. What I do buy, though, is that Michael was impressed with Omer the Young Impersonator’s talents and may have opted to use Pia the Nanny to create Blanket the Adorable.
So since Omer has proclaimed to the world that he intends to have a DNA test to prove his claim, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Personally, I’m putting my money on at least two DNA tests, since he’s likely to cry “foul” on the results of the first one.
I say the kid is not his son. But what do I know.

Wonder what ever happened to Omer. Is he still living with Miss Katherine and the kids?

If anyone see a photo of Omer’s Pakisani father, they could say he is a spitting image of his father. Michael first met them at a concert in Norway, when Omer tried to imitate Michael in backstage at the age of 6 or 7. He was wearing clothes similar to MJ. Most of all, Omer himself denied the rumor by saying MJ just treated him like a father. That’s it.

Blanket and Omer share the same mother and it’s been reported that Michael Jackson is the father of both of them!
