A Work In Progress

This domain name was a Christmas gift to me from my son, Jeremy. I’m not sure whether he was trying to torment me in some subliminal way or simply trying to gently nudge me into the 21st century with my own “web presence”, but either way he was successful (***yanking out my hair… ouch***).
Please cruise around and comment if you’re inclined, but please remember this is a work in progress (***banging head on wall***) and check back sometime to see if I’ve conquered any new php (some days, I think I’d rather dig my eyeballs out with a spoon) or css or html or wordpress mountains (***or given up and flushed my head, and/or my computer, down the toilet***).

I think it is an honorable achievement to have a web presence. Giving his mother her own domain name was a wonderful gift. The nicest thing about it was that he was able to get your actual name. I bet that fishkiller.com was probably already taken.

Fishkiller, huh. Ah-so. You’re just mad cuz that’s one less sashimi fillet on the sushi platter for you. Okay, possibly three. I guess maybe I should feel guilty since this deprivation leaves you with little alternative but to consume more of “the other red meat”.

Have you ever thought about who would purchase one of the Kroger cookbook? I submitted several of my favorites for consideration, but none of them made it onto that Bible of culinary masterpieces. So what was wrong with my “Roasted Dog Stuffed with Goldfish Puree?” or my “authentic Chinese ‘rat on a stick?’” I even tried some less esoteric dishes like Mac and Cheese and Cup of Noodles, but I guess my palette was not sophisticated enough for the snobs in Ohio. What is in the cookbook anyway? Service Deli Favorites??? Yum Yum…
