Welcome Home, Sophie!
Sophie is a great big heart wrapped in a little bitty furry body who through no fault of her own was incarcerated for 3 weeks at our local animal shelter. She was taken into police custody because her previous owners were apparently arrested for some crime or another, and I was lucky enough to find her within hours of her "arrest" and put the first hold on her. I visited her several times during the waiting period, and each time she seemed to neither grow nor change. She was spunky but not obnoxious, tumbling over her more assertive littermates in an ...
What Do You Say Now, Diane Dimond?
Diane has refused to publish on her "home base" any of the posts I've written questioning her treatment of Michael Jackson over the years, and in fact once sent me a nasty little email inviting me not to post again. Now there's an ethical journalist dedicated to perfecting her craft if ever I saw one. Anyway, on 8/31/09, Ms. Dimond posted the latest blast in her attempt to discredit Michael and validate her existence. Here's an excerpt: "Michael Jackson suffered from a lot of obvious maladies, many self inflicted. Not only was he abusing massive amounts of drugs, he suffered from ...
Happy Birthday, Michael!
Is that a cool tribute by Google, or what? Awesome. Truly. Still hard to believe he's gone. Happy Birthday, Michael.
Is Mark Lester Paris Jackson’s Father?
Good Lord. Is there no one who "claimed" to be Michael Jackson's "friend" who won't stop feeding off the flesh of his fame? If there is a sane soul in the world who still wonders why Michael traveled the paths he did throughout his life, I can't imagine why. Seriously. Mark Lester, child star of Oliver! fame, today stepped forward with the allegation that he is the father of Paris Jackson. His claim: "I gave Michael Jackson my sperm so that he could have kids". He asserts that Paris Jackson resembles his daughter, Harriet, as if that settles the matter. My son, ...
Who Is Omer Bhatti?
There seems to be lots of flap about this Omer Bhatti guy, who claims to be Michael Jackson's "love child". It actually took longer than I thought it would for some knucklehead to crawl out from under a rock and make a claim like this. Supposedly, Omer is the product of a one night stand between Michael and Omer's mom, Pia, who worked for Michael as a nanny. Uh, yeah. Michael was famous for his one night stands. Closet cad. Not. There's no doubt that Omer Bhatti shared a resemblance to an early surgically enhanced version of Michael Jackson. Lots of eyeliner ...

Walking Barefoot: My Life
I changed the layout and I’m loving that, but I’m just not feeling the color scheme. Or the header. At all. I’ve been messing around all day trying to come up with something new. Since it looks the same right now as it did “all day” ago, obviously I’m drawing a big fat blank. All that pink and black feels... [Read more of this review]
… here comes a condolence card from the veterinary office that tried to save Jacques from the coyote attack. It’s signed by the whole staff, and little Jacques’ pawprint is stamped on the back. I don’t even have words. Lots of tears, but no words could ever adequately define what I’m feeling. They didn’t... [Read more of this review]
